Organization/DepartmentOur client provides a wide range of engineering, construction, operations and maintenance, logistics and project management services to three markets: upstream, downstream and government & infrastructure. The upstream sector includes oil and gas production facilities, pipelines, gas processing and liquefied natural gas production facilities and receiving terminals.
Job descriptionOur client has a requirement for a Senior Material Control Supervisor for the Kashagan Project in Kazakhstan on a contract basis.
Responsible for planning, budgeting, and supervision of all material control activities. This includes providing information on identified material requirements, establishing acquisition priorities, and stating the procurement, fabrication, delivery, issue, and inventory status of each. May maintain material systems and records and prepare status reports. Supervises, trains, and determines manpower requirements for Materials Control Specialists.
RequirementsMust have a minimum qualification of City and Guilds, preferably an HNC/HND - required to obtain Kaz visa
Overseas experience
Experience with IPMS/Maximo system
Experience of Large multidiscipline experience
Oil and Gas experience
