Job descriptionPurpose:
In the light of the new data-centric approach the CAD administration supervisor shall support the CAD management coordinator:
• To define processes and policies for CAD management in all Company projects and in all phases
• To verify the implementation of policies and carry out audit sessions of Contractors’ system set-up
• To verify in particular that the project and system integration expected through the use of intelligent CAD systems is met
• To support Design in Company Projects
• To define Contractors’ organization and system requirements
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
Tasks:
• monitor the 3D, electrical, Instrument, P&ID and 3D CAD model and Engineering Database strategy for the overall project.
• Maintain familiarity with current project scope
– such as engineering deliverable plans, project milestone dates, Company review requirements, construction approach etc.
• Provide interface between Engineering disciplines and Off-Project IT & CAD Support Groups.
• Provide clarification on Company requirement to Contractors’ CAD Administrators.
• Supervise the management of Piping Class System and PDS (Plant design system) Reference data base creation tool
• Supervise the exchange of CAD and Engineering Data between different engineering Contractors.
• Verify that Project wide Design Review facilities are available.
• Maintain familiarity with current software developments / releases.
• Support Company projects for the all the CAD related matters
RequirementsQualifications & Experience:
• Engineering degree
• Experience in Intergraph PDS CAD management in the oil & Gas industry,
• the knowledge of at least another Intergraph CAD system: SPPID, SPEL, SPIRequired Competencies: The major requirements are:
• Main CAD 2D Tools (Microstation, Autocad)
• Integraph Enterprise SuiteAt the same time the following competencies are highly beneficial:
• Material Coding System in Oil &Gas Industry• CAD 2D and 3D libraries knowledge
• Data Collection tools
• Fluent in the English language both written and spoken
Other remarksWorking Conditions:
London and: Monday – Friday (9.00-6.00) although occasional weekend working may be required.
Frequent Business trip to execution contractors and supplier
