Drilling Materials Coordinator needed for a fulltime position with a major oil and gas company in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business with five years of oil and gas experience. Must have a solid understanding of drilling operations and physical knowledge of drilling materials. The prime focus of this position is to ensure the uninterrupted supply and logistic support of materials, equipment and service to production and drilling operations. Responsibilities include coordinating drilling materials, ensuring repairs, and fabrication and make up of well completion assemblies, planning balanced inventory requirements in accordance with demand changes in operation conditions, seasonal fluctuations, changing market, and coordinating with warehouse and operations to identify potential surplus.
