Job description• Develop Local Business Development Policy, plans, operational procedures and guidelines for the project and ensure consistent application.
• Support Business Development Officers to develop and implement strategies to manage business development programs of support to local licence area landowner companies and their relationships with EHL departmental contract owners.
• Identifying business development training needs and where possible provide appropriate training on business development aspects for all Community Affairs staff.
Requirements• Tertiary qualifications in business administration, management or accounting.
• 10+ years in business development in the oil and gas/mining industries
• 10+ years in supervisory positions.
• Relevant experience working in developing countries is essential.
• Able to maintain good working relations among multinational people in the Company, the Joint Venture, the Government, and the community.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to speak or learn to speak Tok Pisin is highly desirable.
