THE ROLE
A major international oil & gas operating company has requested CCL to provide a Floatel Marine Representative to be based in Angola. 28/28 rotation. Excellent rate / terms and conditions.
THE PERSON
Experience on board Floatels as camp boss. Ensure that the site and contractor are managing the work in accordance with the job planning and safety management system (SMS). This requires: - Participation in the site job planning process. Understanding of the planning and safety management system. Regular audits of the work management processes to ensure that they are operating. Have in place an HSE performance contract detailing. Input targets such as SOC, STOPs, training; Initiative to be led; Audit schedule etc. Act as single point of contact on board vessel. Ensure that contractors fully understand standards for offshore activities and HSSE protocols. Implement training and performance measurement programme to ensure these standards are delivered.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Strong leadership and safety capabilities. Computer literate. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Strong organisational abilities. Must be eligible to reside and work in Angola.
