PURPOSE

The Senior Quality Specialist will provide support and advice to project teams in all areas of projects that relate to quality management. The incumbent will provide assurance and governance to projects ensure the completed project fulfils the project requirements

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the effort to develop, review and endorse  project quality plans.
• Responsibility for ensuring quality inspection and test plans are in place and information and data from inspections and test plans are used to drive continual improvement.
• Develop, implement and lead a quality assurance initiative and follow up lifecycle improvement processes.
• Lead efforts to ensure quality control measures are in place in all aspects of project management and execution.
• Lead efforts to develop and maintain all project management standards, tool, templates and procedures that relate to quality planning, assurance, governance and control.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in relevant Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years overall experience with at least 10 years Oil & Gas industry experience
• Experience developing and implementing quality plans in relevant industry very desirable.
• Proven track record in small project delivery and contractor management, including excellent HSE performance; in all phases of projects, from inception to close out.
• Computer literate with business analytical skills.
• Experience in onshore gas gathering projects desirable.
• Working knowledge of applicable code requirements, especially AWS, ASME and API.
