Tank Designer - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Purpose

Will carry out the detailed Tank Design and Engineering drawings/drafting


Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

1. To work independently on Oil and Gas Projects
2. Conversant with International codes like ASME,API 650 and API 620 etc.
3. Preparation and checking of detailed drawings for Tanks
4. Preparation of Tank Fabrication Drawings including cutting plate lay-outs, Platform, structure, internals etc.
5. Coordination with other departments
6. Preparation of Tank MTO / BOQ
7. Hands on working experience - Autocad version 2011

Basic Qualifications

Key qualifications of this position includes:

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering  or Mechanical Drafting course
• Previous design experience in tanks (Floating Roof and Fixed Roof) in engineering consultancy or EPC company
• Works independently within man-hour budgets

Degree Required

Associates or 2 Year Degree
