MECHANICAL ENGINEER needed in Boston, MA. Requires BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years experience in mechanical systems for refinery, petrochemical, or equivalent facilities. Need working knowledge of rotating machinery/equipment and packaged systems such as refrigeration, mixing,and filtration. Must be familiar with API and ANSI standards. Direct Hire Status preferred but may consider Contract Status.
Position will team in providing mechanical engineering support for refinery, petrochemical and heavy industrial design projects. Will perform mechanical engineering/design calculations; prepare engineering and design specifications and construction details; assist in developing budget estimates; prepare data sheets and bid tabulations; and periodically visit site and vendor facilities.
