Gas and Oil Production Engineer
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Production Engineer to join a rapidly growing, Independent Oil and Gas Company located in Eastern Texas. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to operations management and have a diverse background within the oil and gas industry.
Job Description
Directly responsible for all aspects of production (primarily natural gas) from critical regional operations
Assist and support Operations Engineers in the technical and economic evaluation of acquisition targets, evaluation of new properties, and development of enhancement project plans
Coordinate engineering aspects of production, workovers, compression, and gathering
Responsible for people development and maintenance of a team environment focused on learning and continuous improvement
Keep direct contact with the Senior Operations Manager and Company President

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration
BS in Petroleum Engineering or BS in Mechanical Engineering
Must have at least 7 years experience managing oil and gas operations, including management of personnel, planning, and reporting
Experience in a supervisor/management role within the industry
Strong Knowledge of marginal natural gas wells
Strong operations working knowledge of all surface and down-hole production equipment including plunger lifts systems, compression, gathering systems, and gas production enhancement
Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to thrive within a team environment
