POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Working in a multidisciplinary reservoir characterization team, you will plan to acquire high quality core, routine and advanced logs synchronized with mud and drilling plan. You will do real-time petrophysical integration to impact operational decisions. You will do quick-look and advanced petrophysical interpretations using multimin style analyses in carbonate and clastic oil and gas reservoirs. You will make core analysis plans to acquire and quality check routine and special data and integrate it with logs. Working on multiple wells on a reservoir scale and ability to normalize logs is essential. You will make hydraulic units based rock-typing and saturation height functions to implement in 3D geocellular models. Project planning and management, report writing and presentation skills in English are essential.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Minimum Experience: 10 years.

Minimum Education: BS Geoscience.

Advanced Degree Preferred Major Petrophysics.

Other Acceptable Majors Geology, Geophysics, Physics, Engineering.

Experience: You have 10+ years of industry experience. You must be an advanced user of Geolog or industry-standard petrophysical packages. Advanced knowledge of Excel and VBA is a plus. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
