Job descriptionYour primary role is to assist the Senior Contracts Engineer and Project Manager in facilitating compliance to the contract, advising and guiding the PMT on contractual matters.
• Interprete the contract and assist the PMT in its application
• Coordinate contractual issues/works related to the project
• Review project correspondence received and advise of problem areas together with identification of any changes/additions/deletions to the contract
• Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements in conjunction with Purchasing and/or Subcontract Department
• Evaluate, negotiate and conclude agreement to costs and revenue; assist to organise and put in place the client /customer required support services
• Coordinate warranties, performance bonds and insurance and ensure that they are in place in accordance with the main contract and any subcontract conditions
• Actively draft all contractual correspondence and ensure follow up
• Ensure that clear and accurate records of contractual matters are maintained and to monitor key dates, against dates defined in the main contract and any subcontracts
• Prepare contract supplements
• Attend all meetings concerning progress, technical contractual matters, and assist in taking and issuing minutes of such meetings
• Ensure that notices and certificates are issued and received in accordance with the main contract and subcontracts
Requirements• A minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts for the offshore Oil & Gas Industry
• Preferably a professional engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (B EM)
Malaysian or Asian candidates preferred
Other remarkssalary negotiable with client; please state your expected salary in your CV/application
