ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive commercial contracting excellence and manage risk effectively for all drilling equipment & services contracts

• Assurance of global compliance with BHPB Corporate, CSG and S&L policies, procedures and statutory requirements Assist the C&P manager in the development of contracting strategies

• Execute and manage drilling contracting strategies

• Internal/ external benchmarking activities to achieve performance improvement (contract structure, incentive schemes, contractor management etc.)

• Work with drilling teams to improve contractor performance monitoring and management

• Development and training of drilling contracts specialists

AUTHORITY & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

• Worldwide Drilling Manager

• Exploration Drilling Manager

• Drilling Engineering Manager

• Regional Drilling Managers

• Completion Engineering Manager

• WWD HSE team leaders

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree (ideally Engineering or Science).

• 3- 5 years experience in drilling operations at management level with either an operator or drilling Service Company.

• Drilling contracts experience with a detailed understanding of contract terms and conditions and associated risks for drilling services and equipment contracts.

• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a team

• Advanced risk management skills

• Superior problem
