South Jersey refinery is searching for a contract PROJECT ENGINEER/MANAGER with 3 to 5 years refinery experience. The successful candidate will coordinate the assigned refinery team from the Engineering work requests through the Project Study Basis and the Project Study Report, Design Basis, Project Execution Development Phase, Project AFE ( Approval for Expenditure ) until final construction and close-out. The candidate will work multiple small ($50k to $5m) projects which require experience with API, ASME, NEC code designs as well as pump system hydraulics, mechanical machinery ( API pumps, Instrumentation Controls), Electrical design knowledge and all applicable petroleum refinery equipment including pressure vessels, tanks, and piping. The position requires a BSChE or BSME and 3-5 years refinery experience. Contract length 1 to 2 years. At this time we are looking for local candidates, no per diem available.
Questions you will be asked:

• Do you have a BSChE or BSME or higher degree? From where? When?

• Do you have 3-5 years REFINERY experience? Where? When?

• Describe your experience with API, ASME, NEC code designs as well as pump system hydraulics. From where? When?

• Describe your experience with mechanical machinery ( API pumps, Instrumentation Controls), Electrical design knowledge and all applicable petroleum refinery equipment including pressure vessels, tanks, and piping. From where? When?

• Where do you live? Are you willing to work in south Jersey for this contract?
