Effectively execute a very large and complex exploration work programme that will include several thousand km2 of 3D seismic data and an extensive exploration drilling programme
Provide technical guidance and leadership to a sub-surface technical team of at least three technical professionals
Provide technical review and assurance of technical work performed within the team
Provide guidance and coordination during seismic and drilling operations
Coordinate annual exploration budget construction for the Malaysian asset and liaison with NOC on annual work programme and budgets
Extensive interaction and communication with NOC to assure that all PSC conditions and approvals are met during the course of the annual work programme and budget
Interaction and communication with various venture partners and enforcement of Joint Operating Agreements
Lead the technical play, prospect and commercial evaluations and presentations to NOC and Venture Partner management for approval during the course of the 5 year petroleum contracts
Additional duties include commercial management in conjunction with General Manager, external engagement with other companies/government agencies as required, farmout evaluations and A&D work with the Singapore new ventures team as required
