1. Scope
Asset Engineer support a team of personnel, carrying out maintenance interventions on the Asset facilities owned or operated by the company on behalf of other Ras Laffan Operators. The team is made up of Supervisors, Foremen, Senior Technicians and Technicians.
2. Tasks
His main tasks are as follows:
- to participate in daily meetings during which maintenance notifications are reviewed and decisions taken regarding how and when the work has to be performed;
- to perform troubleshooting of problems affecting the facilities and to liaise with Technical Support Engineers accordingly;
- to liaise with Workshop & Services assistance whenever equipment is sent for repair or specialized manpower, tools or lifting & handling means are required;
- to lead major overhauls of equipments within the Asset;
- to provide site assistance for interventions performed by LTSA Contractor or other Vendors or Suppliers;
- occasionally replace Head of Asset Maintenance during his absence.
3. Dimensions
Typical Asset can be made of several LNG trains or a large storage and loading facilities.
Requirements- Electrical BSc. or BEng degree
- 5 years experience in maintenance in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry
- Ability to work under pressure and stressing conditions
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
