The post is based at out client's headquarters of all production activities in the North Sea. All together approximately 350 onshore employees work in the office. The working environment is international, hectic and characterised by highly skilled employees. The position The Well Operations department is looking for a Well Optimization Specialist to work with gaslift and well optimization. The Well Optimization Specialist will be responsible for artificial lift designs, optimization and troubleshooting of the production of our more than 300 wells in the North Sea. For the various tasks we use simulation software tools, data collection and data processing. The work consists of monitoring and optimization of artificial lift being mainly gaslift systems, economical and technical justification of new Well Technologies, production testing of wells, project related tasks, few reporting tasks, assistance to the production departments and coordination wit the Petroleum Engineering department. Short offshore stays are to be expected. Responsibility level: Manager level
Qualified Petroleum Engineer
Minimum 8 years experience working with gas lift and well optimization Knowledge of Prosper, GAP and PIPESIM or similar is required Good verbal and written English skills.
