Our client requires 2 Operations Engineers to work on rotation in the FSU The following main functions are expected of the Operations Engineer: To support the readiness of translating well designs to Well Operations in FSU. Ensuring the transfer of the basis of design is clear to all Operation Staff. Establishment of Well Delivery Targets and Performance Metrics. Providing support to the necessary site design inputs and a link to Project Teams in Early Works. Providing direct support to FSU based Authorities with respect to Well Design Verification and Design Institute Interface. Drilling and Service Contractor interface. Petroleum Engineering Interface wrt Well Test equipment and Tie in Schedules. Draw up the activities schedule, requisitions, orders, charts, diagrams and other technical documentation. Organize, administer and assist in the work execution, abiding by company Corporate Policy and Procedures, local Statutory Health, Safety and Environmental and occupational sanitation regulations To implement the incumbent functions, Operations Engineer must: Provide work instruction and guidance for his / her subordinates. Develop strategic and tactical programs, plans, procedures and schedules, Develop programs and provide a technical and practical support for the programs implementation. Draw up operations schedule, requisitions, orders, guidelines, charts, diagrams and other technical documentations. Exercise control and coordinate actions to timely and appropriately execute the works conducted by drilling rig and contractors. Study and review the information, technical data, performance indicators and the results of work, generalize and classify them, perform required calculations. Carry out feasibility study, fully justify decisions being made and implemented, promote the process of their preparation and implementation and provide required technical information, documentations, materials, equipment and etc. Promote introduction of state-of-the-art techniques and technologies to enhance the operations. Participate in technical documentation assessment and drawing up the required review, reports and conclusions related to the work carried out. Audit documentation recorded at the job places, its completeness, compliance with corporate company policy and local safety regulations. Explain company policy statements and local statutory Health, Safety Environmental regulations and occupational sanitation as well to Well Operations personnel and contractors; promote and enforce adherence of all the personnel to these procedures. Ensure compliance with the statutory requirements, regulations, current norms, standards and rules. Analyse and summarize the work done, reveal deficiencies and propose corrective measures. Carry out risk assessment of each particular operation and communicate to the operation personnel. Prepare for and participate in formal project assurance reviews partner briefings and workshops. Participate in audits conducted by the company departments and local governmental agencies. Operations Engineer also must: Train and enhance skills of subordinate personnel and or nationalisation succession candidates and provide adequate refresher courses for the personnel Constantly improve qualification and develop professional skills needed to fulfil duties specified by the present guideline Comply with requirements of safety, Health and Environmental laws and to obey the corporate policy of company on Safety, Health and Environment and to practice Safety Systems. Provide safe and healthy conditions of work to subordinate personnel and control over the compliance by these personnel all safety and labour protection rules and regulations.

Education/Work Experience. Oil and Gas University or institute high education (technical). Have formal skill in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering.. At least 10 years of experience in Drilling and Workover activities.. At least 5 years experience in Field Development Planning activities.. Experience in team leadership in a development project.. Prior experience with high pressure and sour gas wells.. Experience in field with wells greater than 4000m.. Arctic or cold weather experience.. Solid understanding of cost-effectiveness and general commercial business issues.. Solid understanding of technological regimes and solutions.. Solid appreciation of formal assurance processes and well delivery requirements.. Knowledge of risk management, portfolio management and HSE management.
