IMMEDIATE NEED!!!.......Engineering & Construction client needs a Site QC Inspector/Supervisor for a long term (12 month) refinery construction project located near Akron, OH. You need 10+ years of construction site QC experience on refinery, petrochemical or similar process plant construction projects as an Inspector or Supervisor. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project is constructed, tested, inspected, and documented in accordance with the project specifications and prime agreement. You will be responsible for quality control in the following areas: materials management, subcontractors, document controls, discrepancy control, system acceptance & turnover. The ideal candidate will hold a current CWI certification. You need experience inspecting the welding & erection of piping per ASME B31.3 Process Piping Codes. You also need a solid background in structural, mechanical, & tank inspections. You need to have solid computer skills with MS Word & Excel. You should expect to work 5, 10 hour days. Mob & demob expenses will be paid, you will get a daily per diem, & you will receive 1 trip home every 3 weeks. You need to be able to start by early to mid May, 2008.
Questions you will be asked:

• How many years of experience do you have as a QC Inspector & QC Site Manager on refinery, petrochem, or similar process plant construction projects? Are you doing this now?

• Do you have solid experience inspecting the welding & erection of piping per ASME B31.3 Process Piping Codes? Are you currently AWS CWI certified?

• Do you have a solid background in structural, mechanical, & tank inspections? Explain.

• Do you have solid computer skills with MS Word & Excel? On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) rate your skill level on both of these applications.

• What is your current hourly rate? What is your desired hourly rate? What is your daytime phone number so a Sr. Recruiter can contact you?
