MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: MS Geology or Geological Engineering. Experience: 15 years experience as a practicing exploration or development geologist, with field work experience. Work experience with major oil/gas company preferred. Hands-on experience with modern geological computing software. Excellent skills in productivity tools for the PC. Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and presentation skills. Suitable personality to deal harmoniously and effectively with people. Generalist rather than specialist, i.e. experience in various geological specialties, including portfolio management and risk analysis.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assume responsibility for providing any geological assistance to JV exploration effort when requested. Design and implement technical exchange geological workshops among staff of JV and its shareholders. Establish and maintain liaison with JV in order to become thoroughly familiar with JV geological work and identify issues for shareholder review or discussion. Participate actively in shareholder review of JV project milestones and completions. Write summary reports of JV geological accomplishments and forecast technical exchange needs for following year. Make Saudi Aramco aware of any new technological applications learned from JV interaction. Assume responsibility for being cognizant of Saudi Aramco exploration projects, results, and innovations.
