Project services lead needed for a temporary assignment with a major oil and gas producing company in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years relevant industry experience on major projects preferably in the E&P segment as well as deepwater experience. Responsibilities include identifying staff data and developing a staffing plan to determine when and where staff is needed, coordination the staff mobilization/demobilization process, tracking who is on the project, location and how project costs are affected, developing and using a work breakdown structure to control the project, developing effective and successful management and performance levels project plans/schedules. Additional responsibilities include developing cost estimates throughout all stages of the project, documenting the estimate basis and applying appropriate estimating methods, defining the cost control processes on major projects to support project management and developing and managing forecasts.
