We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer (Packaged Equipment) to work on our new Greenfields Oil & Gas project.

Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager you will be expected to provided specialist design expertise for packaged equipment and particular Client supplied equipment as well as ensuring that all interfacing and deliverables are completed in a timely manner to the required level of accuracy in accordance with the contract.

You will have proven excellent all round technical skills and knowledge in;
Design installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of rotating machinery packages for the oil & gas industry such as-
oGas turbine driven generators oCentrifugal and reciprocating compressors oSteam turbines and pumps
Pressure vessel
Mechanical experience
Heat exchanger
Piping and control system design
Be fully conversant with the relevant codes and standards related to these packaged equipment items
Demonstrated record dealing with vendors at a technical level through the design, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of equipment packages
To be considered for this position you must have;
A recognised Mechanical engineering qualification
A minimum of 10 years experience in detailed design and installation engineering within engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in the oil & gas industry
Good general knowledge of mechanical equipment codes and standards
Previous Solar equipment experience will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant will have a proven ability to work with minimal supervision and be able to effectively work with a team of engineers in a multidiscipline environment on a project.
