TEMPORARY FACILITIES TECHNICIAN Anchorage, Alaska, USA

Position Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine tasks, which are clearly defined and require the general knowledge of facilities and office equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
• Performs employee office moves, including furniture, computers and items
• Responds to employee requests for assistance with machines, furniture, ect. Dispatches appropriate parties for response if needed
• Cleans work spaces prior to new employee arrival and after departure
• Coordinates warranty furniture repairs with appropriate vendors
• Performs weekly recycling collection
• Conducts daily routine building walkthrough to maintain professional appearance of all floors and public areas
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of Excel preferred
• Knowledge of general building and office equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
• A valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
