EPC Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED need for a Construction Project Scheduler for a 12+ month refinery construction project located near Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have solid construction project scheduling experience on refinery construction projects, but any process plant construction project will do. The client prefers candidates with a BS degree in Construction or Engineering, but will consider all applicants that meet the skill set. You need to be proficient with using & creating schedules in Primavera P3 (P5 experience preferred). You will be expected to run reports using Primavera P3 software from updated contractor's schedules every two weeks. You will also coordinate with and expedite contractor's schedule updating efforts. Client will pay for mobilization, demobilization, 1 paid trip home every 3 weeks, & per diem. You need to be able to start by early to mid May, 2008.
Questions you will be asked:
• How many years of experience to you have as a Construction Project Scheduler supporting large process plant (refinery) EPC or CM projects?
• Are you more focused & experienced on project scheduling issues or project cost issues? What % in each?
• Detail your experience providing weekly and monthly look ahead updates, analysis & progress reports for construction projects.
• Detail your level of expertise using Primavera P3 & P5 scheduling software. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) rate your skills using these software programs. When was the last time you used this?
• When are you available to mobilize to the project? What is your desired hourly rate for this long term assignment?
