Description:
To direct the efficient running of the Operations Team, achieving safety, production and budgetary targets whilst ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Standards, Technical Integrity Standards and OIAS Safety Management System.
Key Duties
Ensure the operation, maintenance, services and construction activities carried out by the Operations Team comply with Health and Safety Executive Standards and OIAS Safety Management System.
Ensure that the health, welfare and safety of all the Operations Team are maintained to TLM policy and statutory standards.
Assist in the control of risk by ensuring that all relevant Operations activities are proceduralized and are covered by the Permit to Work system.
Ensure continued compliance with Technical and Operation Integrity Standards for all topside operating, maintenance, services and engineering works completed by the Operations Team.
Control the Operations budgets and provide monthly forecasts. Lead in the preparation of the annual budget for operational activities
Deliver the OTL's Performance Contract agreements within budget in the areas of production, maintenance, services and engineering.
Deputy OIM - assume command in emergencies if the OIM is incapacitated.
Ensure information is being passed onto the OIM and assist in the OIM controlling emergencies.
Focal point of contact with all outside Agencies for Engineering and Operational activities.
Qualifications:
HNC Engineering or Process background would be an advantage with a minimum of 10 years petrochemical experience, five of which should be in a supervisory position offshore.
