Description
The role of Facility Engineer within the Production Engineering Function will be to provide technical and engineering input and support to the operational facilities to achieve safe, efficient and optimum operation.

In this role you will manage the integrity of the facility through maintenance, inspection and engineering change control. You will provide input to/and oversee the reactive and preventative maintenance programs to ensure maximum facility uptime. You will ensure appropriate advice is given and that standards, procedures and specifications are complied with. The role will have a specific emphasis on reliability and continuous improvement of existing systems and also involve interfacing with project groups. Specific experience in an engineering support role in large engineering or oil and gas sectors will be looked at favourably.

The Engineers will be supporting control and instrument systems with emphasis on field instrumentation, process control systems (including Advanced Process Control), fire and gas systems, emergency shutdown systems, analysers and general Inlec systems associated with high pressure oil and gas facilities. Experience is required in maintenance of this equipment.

Qualifications

We envisage that the successful candidates will be degree qualified in either Instrument or Electrical Engineering with significant previous experience in a similar role. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to converse with individuals at all levels within the organisation. You will maintain a business focus and have a flexible attitude towards work with a high emphasis on safety.
