Description
This position is a KBSB based role, supporting Karratha Logistics Services which includes King Bay Supply Base, Karratha Heliport, Accommodation (Sea Ripple & Bay Village), and various other Logistics contracted services (eg. Transpacific/Cleanaway services)

The purpose of the position it to be a dedicated H&S resource to support the Karratha Logistics services, predominantly King Bay Supply Base (KBSB) in the development of their H&S Management Systems.

* Participate in development of Karratha Logistics H&S Long-Term Planning, and specifically ensure KBSB H&S Strategy activities are resourced and progressed adequately
* Support Karratha Logistics Manager in communicating the KBSB H&S Strategy to relevant personnel/contractors
* Develop (with feedback from KBSB Mgt) and communicate KBSB H&S Management System, Standards and implementation (ie. relevant stakeholders)
* Support Karratha Logistics Manager in outlining expectations/ responsibilities of various stakeholders interfacing with KBSB (ie. Business/Functional Units, Contractors- resident/non- resident, Leasees etc)- through Authorities Matrix
* Communicate the Woodside & KBSB H&S Sub-Process and Standards to relevant KBSB personnel
* Provide advice on H&S resources required to maintain developed Karratha Logistics and KBSB H&S Management Systems
* Assist in recruitment of identified resources (Logistics and H&S Function)
* Support Karratha Logistics Manager in identifying H&S training to meet Woodside’s H&S competency framework
* Coach and mentor KBSB Management, Supervisors and Contractors on Woodside & KBSB H&S expectations and accountabilities/ responsibilities
* Support Karratha Logistics Line Management in understanding & conducting the requirements of Woodside Incident Reporting & Investigation Procedure (in addition to monitoring compliance)
* Ensure all incidents/hazards are recorded within 2 days and actions tracked until close out

Qualifications
Skills & Experience within these roles would include:

* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation;
* Ability to source information and provide advice;
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing to all levels of management; and
* Analytically investigate complex issues and establish the facts.
* Formal H&S Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in an oil and gas industry
