A well established company located in the state of Nebraska has an opening for a seasoned Project Manager with project, product or design engineering experience in the boiler industry. With approximately 25% to 30% travel this position will be responsible for managing boiler projects as the customer interface and for directing and managing the various functional department activities to ensure that assigned projects are executed on schedule and within the cost budget. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to establish and manage the customer interface from project kick-off to completion to include working with all functional departments to develop a shell plan, to monitor and ensure that the team executes to the project plan and to the cost budget, to participate in design review, pre-fabrication meetings and production meeting to ensure all customer requirements and specifications are met, through working with service to ensure the project is commissioned and handed over to the customer in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience or exposure to water tube boiler design and an understanding of ISO 9001 procedures although a broad range of boiler industry experience will be considered. Candidates should have a minimum of an Associates of Science in Engineering Technology and related field experience or a BS degree being ideal. Travel will be required out of country so you must be able to obtain a passport. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
