Job descriptionPurpose:
To deliver to DOP Waste & Fluids Manager on EPC3 quality DCI well and DCI operations that meet or exceed waste disposal targets and subsurface containment integrity on time and within budget.
To implement safe injection and containment monitoring procedures that meet Company Environmental Management obligations and satisfy RoK regulatory requirements.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder shall:
• Assemble a project team from Geosciences, Drilling, Logistics, HSE, C&P and Waste Management personnel and apply the Well Delivery Process (WDP) methodology to manage the project
• Establish project criteria, outline a BOD and define targets, including subsurface ones.
• Organise workshops, brain storming sessions, meetings and technical peer reviews to review options and select concept
• Maintain project Risk & Opportunity Registers. Produce and implement a Risk Management Plan
• Monitor costs and business drivers. Ensure budget is in place
• Ensure timely TPD approval by regulators and regulatory compliance of the project
• Issue SOR & BOD, prepare SOW, HSE schedules and agree procurement contract strategy with C&P and direct report. Prepare tender evaluation plans. Technically evaluate and rank bids. Prepare CB submissions.
• Agree design and engineering of surface equipment with selected contractor
• Refine selected concept into detailed operational program
• Produce detailed drilling / injection programmes and NOE. Obtain sanction for the project
• Ensure deliverables for each phase of the project to the satisfaction of the Gate Panel
• Deliver a well executed disposal well that meet Cost/Time/Quality and Integrity targets
• Deliver a drilling waste injection service that meet or exceed disposal estimates and oilfield best practices
• Evaluate performance against plan, capture lessons, ensure disposal reports are completed and a field operation manual is updated
RequirementsQualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
• A degree in Engineering or Sciences
Advantageous Qualifications/Experience
• 10 years field experience of E&P operations, both onshore and offshore, (in remote locations, with minimum existing infrastructure would be an advantage)
• 2-5 years experience in oilfield waste management
• Knowledge of international oil industry standards, including those of RoK or Russia or the CIS
• Project management experience, not necessarily related to waste management or the oilfield
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
• Communication skills
• Ability to motivate people
• Good standard of spoken and written English
• Good knowledge of RoK Environmental legislation
Other remarksWorking Conditions:
Rotational, primarily based in Bautino but requiring regular trips to Atyrau, occasional trips to place of equipment manufacture and offshore stays during execution of the project.
