POSITION DESCRIPTION: Applicant will require having extensive experience in Electrical Engineering. (1) Experience in Electrical Power System, design and projects of oil and gas processing plants. (2) Familiarity with International codes and specifications applicable to the oil/petrochemical industry. (3) Awareness of process designs, ability to communicate with Operations/Maintenance and project personnel at all levels. (4) Ability to share knowledge and engineering experience with other Engineers. (5) Should have superior technical report writing skills. (6) Should have computer proficiency and good physical condition.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Candidate should have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 10 years of experience. Should have membership of International Engineering Society and a valid driver license. Should have experience in all associated disciplines involved in electrical systems of oil and gas industry. A thorough working experience in oil process plant or petrochemical industry as electrical engineer is essential. Candidate must be thoroughly familiar with good engineering practices, economic practices, calculation methods, design details, standards and specifications.
