Job descriptionPURPOSE/ROLE:
- Member of KNPC Integrated Project Management Team for Fourth Refinery Off-sites & Utilities Project.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of project quality management system.
KEY AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
- Assist the Lead QA/QC Engineer in monitoring the effectiveness of project quality management system.
- Surveillance on Contractor’s/Vendors site quality management system.
- Ensuring assigned work is managed and delivered to KNPC technical satisfaction.
- Ensuring that key reports carry out their duties and responsibilities in line with their agreed contract Job Descriptions
PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assist Lead QA/QC Engineer in review/approval process of Contractors quality management system documentation.
- Assist Lead QA/QC Engineer reviewing engineering documents.
- Present monthly site quality surveillance report(s) to Lead QA/QC Engineer.
- Assist other PMC construction personnel in resolving quality related issues.
- Participate as a team member on Project Quality Audits. Perform audits, identify corrective actions, and ensure that corrective actions are taken in a timely manner to meet quality requirements.
- Surveillance/Witness of Contractor’s site inspection and test per approved ITP.
- Participate in Construction meetings and report on quality issues.
- Guide the Contractor in quality planning and implementation.
- Guide the Contractor in developing and implementing programmes for Quality system improvements.
- Review contract packages and determine the QA coverage required.
- Develop methodology/techniques used for supervision, inspection, and acceptance and testing of facilities, and the verification and acceptance of documentation to be used during construction.
- Review and approve EPC Contractor quality management systems and implement procedures to ensure conformance to the requirements of the Quality Assurance Program.
Requirements- Graduate of B.Sc. (Eng).
- Minimum ten years post graduate experience.
- Minimum six years experience in the oil & gas, refining and petrochemical industries.
- Minimum three years experience in a similar position.
- Familiar with ISO 9000 and 14000 series Standards.
-Trained ISO 9001 Quality Auditor.
