Qualifications• Successful candidate will be a senior engineer with 10-15 years of experience.
• Candidate will be Professional Engineer accredited by APEGGA.
• APEGBC and APEGS accreditation also valuable for the position, but not required.
• Successful candidate will have superior communication skills
Responsibilities• The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for AFE, coordination with production and reservoir engineers for a wide variety of oil and gas operations.
• The position will involve troubleshooting day-to-day operational problems, optimization of existing facilities, designing and implementing well tie-ins, field compression and new facilities.
• Managing consulting EPCM�s Project Managers.
Requirements• P.Eng. designation.
• Candidate must have 10 - 15 years facilities engineering / project engineering experience with either with a producing company or EPCM.
• You have a strong understanding of all aspects of oil and gas field operations, the ability to identify, scope out and implement solutions to production/facility problems, and develop a strong working relationship with the production field staff.
• The ability to prioritize and manage a large number of projects at one time and utilizing consultant project Managers, is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of all EUB and Alberta Environment regulations pertaining to facilities and pipeline projects is required.
