Will serve as an expert advisor to Corporate Management and other Company organizations on economic issues and developments related to both the international and Saudi Arabian energy sectors. Provides guidance on economic evaluation of investment proposals; participates in review of the Company s capital budget program and expenditure requests; analyses and advises on major business opportunities; provides input to the Company s long-range strategies; and conducts special techno-economic studies as directed.

Requires a degree in engineering with an advanced degree in economics or business administration. A minimum ten years working experience as an economist within the energy sector is necessary where expertise in economics planning, forecasting and analysis has been acquired. Thorough understanding of economic factors especially those related to: oil & gas exploration and production; petroleum refining; and petrochemical production is also required. Experience in macro and micro economic modeling would be an asset.
