We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Regional Sales Managers and account representatives in various regions in USA and Canada.
The Sales Manager is responsible for sales and business development for the territory, serving the electrical utility and industrial customers. The successful candidates will possess a great attitude, flexibility and creativity. Other key success factors include being outgoing, ambitious, self directed, well organized, and a self starter.
Regional territories include: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Mountain, Southeast, Northwest, Southwest, Texas, California, Eastern Canada, and Western Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell to the utilities OSI’s automation products (software and hardware) and services through calling on all prospective customers in the defined territory.
Build and execute account plans incorporating fundamental software and systems sales strategies to deliver accurate sales forecasts.
Effectively use the available internal resources in the Marketing, Technical Support, and Sales Support groups to meet and report individual sales goals.
Learn and maintain knowledge and skill levels with OSI products.
Effectively articulate OSI’s vision, products, and services to potential customers.
Conduct effective sales presentations addressing the business needs of the customer to propose value-added solutions.
Develop and maintain a required knowledge of the market, trends and issues to effectively apply OSI’s products and services to meet customer’s business goals.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Technical degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of proven direct sales experience in the utilities markets.
Demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets and excel in the area of business development and sales with marked results.
Motivated by results and ultimately long-term customer satisfaction.
Exemplary business conduct.
Must live in territory.
Must be able to travel minimum 50%-60% of the time.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, personal tact and diplomacy.
Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow relationships with customers.
Salary, commissions/bonuses and benefits for this full-time position are commensurate with experience level and demonstrated performance.
