Quality Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will initiate or conduct special studies for improving facilities or operations; provides specialized technical service in recognized engineering fields; acts as consultant on complex engineering problems; designs and/or projects; coordinates or directs work of other engineers. Discusses, coordinates and resolves problems with personnel throughout Aramco and subsidiaries and outside of company organizations. Acts as a technical consultant when required.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

The candidate must have a strong background on Quality Management Systems, Process Improvements Methods and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt. Must have working knowledge and experience with product/Service design and experience of teaching in professional setting as well as dealing with industrial workers. The candidate must have excellent computer use MS programs skills, communication skills, and full command of English and prefer candidates who can also speak Arabic.

The Inspection Department is charged with the corporate responsibility for inspection of materials and equipment purchased, and equipment and facilities constructed for Saudi Aramco. The candidate will have frequent contact with middle management within Projects Management, Construction, Operations, and Mechanical Services Organizations to discuss and resolve engineering problems. In addition the candidate will be expected to act as the focal point of contact for project reviews and in technical matters related to his field of engineering. Also, the candidate will be considered as an expert in one or more recognized engineering fields and is required to undertake or coordinate complex engineering work.
