Immediate need for PDS Piping Designers in New Jersey. Mid-sized company has multiple open positions for Piping Designers with PDS 2D and 3D experience and a minimum of 8-12 years experience in design of petrochemical, industrial or power generation facilities. Experience preferred is hands on 3D Intergraph Microstation PDS CAD including equipment modeling, mechanical equipment, layout and design. Additionally, hands on 3D / 2D CAD Microstation is required. Mechanical / Piping experience required includes physical layout of pumps, heat exchangers, cooling systems, piping systems and equipment locations. Desire experience as a Lead Designer on large projects overseeing work of other designers and drafters is preferred. Experience must include general computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc. with good verbal and written communication required. Per diem will be considered for qualified candidates.
Questions you will be asked:
• Describe your PDS Piping Designer (3D and 2D) experience in petrochemical, industrial or power plant design for power generation or Industrial facilities.
