Dynamic Graphics is looking for talented, ambitious geoscientists who want to apply their problem-solving skills on some of the most complex structural-geology and engineering problems in the geosciences. This position focuses on providing exceptional support in the areas of client communication and software quality-control for our EarthVision software product family. The technical support specialist may be called on for a variety of other tasks, including pre-sales activities, application consulting, training, and development/presentation of technical papers at industry conferences.
Specific Responsibilities include:
* Becoming an expert in creating 3D geologic models
* Working with clients to make them successful in creating and using these models
* Becoming proficient in running EarthVision on a variety of hardware platforms (Linux, Windows XP, Sun)
Required Experience:
Required Skills/Experience:
* Geoscience degree with strong mathematics background
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
* Moderate programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, HTML, awk, python, Bourne shell, macro languages) *Experience with UNIX/Linux and/or Windows XP
