POSITION DESCRIPTON:

Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will interpret hydrogeological, hydrochemical data, design and supervise drilling of shallow and deep water wells. Incumbent will design, supervise and interpret pumping tests. Hydrogeological mapping and conceptual aquifer modeling are vital. Incumbent will construct and maintain groundwater flow and solute transport simulation models. Groundwater resource assessment, development and management skills are required. Project planning and management, mentoring, report writing and presentation skills in English are essential.


SELECTION CRITERIA:

Minimum Experience: 10 years. Minimum Education: BS Hydrogeology.

Advanced Degree Preferred Major Hydrogeology.

Other Acceptable Majors Geology, Geophysics, Physics, Engineering.

Experience: Incumbent should have 10+ years of industry experience. Must be an advanced user of industry-standard software packages such as MODFLOW, Aquifer Test Pro (or any Pumping Test Analysis application), SURFER, GIS and any Geochemical Analysis application. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
