Location: Saudi Arabia
Saudi Aramco, the world s leading producer and exporter of crude oil is seeking INVESTMENT PROFESSIONALS for positions at our corporate headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. These positions require a CFA or similar professional credential. A Bachelor s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field is required. An MBA degree is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years experience gained in asset management. Job requirements and key activities of the position are:


Job Requirements

Inter-relation of pension fund asset allocation and their liabilities

Thorough understanding of the mechanics of performance monitoring and the investment manager selection processes

Thorough understanding of the risk-return management process

Competent in use of investment IT tools/packages and interpretation of output

Broad knowledge of investment principles and market conditions

Acting as a mentor and helping to develop junior analysts

Ability to present technical information clearly, bringing out the key issues and explaining complex concepts

Strong communication skills


Key Activities

Asset Allocation

Strategic asset allocation

Tactical asset allocation

Portfolio rebalancing


Performance Monitoring

Develop complex performance reports with relevant commentary

Develop manager updates

Analysis and commentary on risk


Manager Selection

Generate long/short list of potential investment managers

Liaises with the short list managers
