MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Sciences, Management Information Technology
(MIS), Physical Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum ten (10) years experience in computer systems or EDP environment.
LANGUAGE: Thoroughly proficient in both verbal and written English.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate is required to perform functions as a Senior SAP Enterprise Portal Applications Consultant/Developer. The candidate will be involved in leading and participating in various full-life cycle portal projects to design, develop, and implement a custom, SAP Enterprise Portal & JAVA technology enabled business solutions. Candidate will also be involved in providing a production support for various mission critical portal web applications. Candidate must demonstrate a deep content expertise in SAP Enterprise Portals and Java technologies with a strong analytical, design and development skills.
Below listed skills and hands on experience is highly required for this position.
SAP Portal Skills:
Expert with Enterprise Portal integration and architecture
Knowledge of Portal Roles, Single Sign On, SSL, etc
Application development using Portal, Java WebDynPro & Knowledge Management
Must have developed at least 2 Portal Applications
Proper operational knowledge of Portal, JDI and Knowledge Management landscapes
Adequate experience to design and utilize Remote Function Calls to communicate to backend SAP systems
Hands on with Publishing & Consuming WebServices
Java Skills:
Expert in following basic Packages (Java.lang, java.util, java.io, java.sql ( for data base connectivity), Exceptions, Nested Classes, Multi Thread Programming, XML, 3D Graphics etc), J2EE/ Web Skill
Expert in J2EE Architecture and MVC (Model View Control)
Proficient with Servlet API, Jsps, java Beans, Custom Tag Libraries and JSTL.
Should be Proficient with EJBs ( Session, Entity and Message beans).
Strong knowledge of JMS, Java Mail Api, XML/JSTL, DHTML, HTML, javaScript, Cascading Style Sheets etc.
Familiar with one of the following Application servers: Apachi Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, JBoss etc.
Certifications:
SAP Portal Certified Developer.
Java/J2EE Certified Programmer or Java Web Component development.
