This opportunity requires electronic and electromechanical skills to maintain and support of two paper machine quality control systems, MXOpen and DaVinci. This is an on-site resident 24/7 support contract. As a highly skilled specialist, you would troubleshoot and solve complex system problems. This opportunity also requires excellent customer interaction skills and daily communication with mill management and machine leads.
Qualifications
--Technical expertise in electronics and electromechanical troubleshooting and repair, preferably on Honeywell DaVinci and MXOpen Quality Control System platforms.
--Some knowledge of papermaking process is preferred in order to communicate the essentials of scanning technology and it’s application to quality paper.
--Need to become deeply integrated into the mill’s engineering, production and management structure as an On-Site Honeywell representative and site manager.
--Must have the ability to write clear, concise, well organized and factual communications describing the actions taken to solve problems and to make recommendations for process improvements.
--Create and present well thought out plans and contingency plans for accomplishing maintenance tasks on machine down days.
--Be able to explain complex, technical information in a simplified manner that gives the audience the information they need to understand the situation and make informed decisions.
--Typically requires a minimum of 6+ years of related experience
