An engineering firm is in search of a Piping Designer to work in their facility located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Successful candidates will have mechanical and piping design experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, power plant, steel, and chemical & petrochemical design. Applicants MUST have an extensive AutoCad background and be able to perform field work in heavy industrial environments. Candidates should be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Designers will be required to interact with clients and help to maintain a good relationship. In order to be considered, you will need a BS Degree with at least 10 years of design experience. Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your educational background. Be sure to list all degrees held and certificates earned.

• Detail all AutoCad experience. Be sure to include the latest versions used and the industry type in which you used this software.

• Tell us about your piping design experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, power plant, steel, and chemical & petrochemical design.

• Do you have the ability to work independently, with little or no supervision? If yes, please explain.

• Are you local to Pittsburgh, PA? If not, why are you willing to relocate for this position?
