COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS MANAGER

To develop, gain agreement to and manage the implementation of Compensation and Reward Strategies, Policies and Procedures which ensure employees in UASC are appropriately motivated and appropriately recognized and rewarded for the contribution they make to the business.
II Key Accountabilities:
• Study the existing grading structure and develop creative alternatives for remuneration and benefits for reviewing and rewarding performance effectively within UASC to retain the employees in the Company and attract the best qualified candidates
• Carry out general reviews of employee compensation and benefits package on an annual basis, conduct research and introduce flexible benefits programs in line with the market and the Company’s overall strategic direction
• Prepare UASC staff budget in coordination with different Business Units to ensure that manpower requirements are taken into account.
• Implement and annually update compensation program.
• Analyze compensation patterns and trends both internally and externally in comparison to market norms.
• Develop and maintain company Performance Mgmt Systems.
• Provide advice to department heads and staff in respect of performance appraisal issues if and when required.
• Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of UASC’s department in relation to established goals.
• Administer and manage Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
• Oversee the Job evaluation plan and job analysis to ensure role accountabilities are clearly documented and jobs are given their fair weight in the organization.
• Verify, check all transactions related to the change in compensation and benefits arising from promotion and merit increases in accord with approved guidelines and approved budgets...
• Participates in developing HR department’s goals, objectives, and systems.
• Finalize all HR internal audits and approves necessary adjustments.
• Liase with Learning & Development Manager with respect to training programs effectiveness and meeting required performance management requirements.
• Create and develop standard forms and templates for the consistent and comprehensive capture and storage of the functional information needed to meet the business requirements...
• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of Compensation & Benefits activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers. Provides advice and counsel to department heads and staff in respect of performance appraisal issues if and when required.

• Safety and security—the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.
• English language skills: Fluent orally and in writing
• Arabic language skills is an advantages
Experience:
• Experience in a similar role, developing and implementing PMS is essential.
