POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The engineer will work as electrical engineer in SAOO Plants. The engineer will provide technical and engineering support to electrical issues related to plants under SAOO. Some of the responsibilities of the engineer will be to:

Review project proposals, design drawings, equipment specifications and the proposed protection and control schemes for the electrical.

Prepare electrical detail design packages for plant modification and upgrades inspect and commission new electrical equipment including motors, generators, switchgear, UPS system and power monitoring.

Participate in investigation teams for the analysis of individual electrical equipment or power system faults.

Assist and direct Maintenance technicians in troubleshooting electric equipment related problems

Work with vendor technical representatives to resolve equipment technical problems.


SELECTION CRITERIA:

BS Electrical Engineering.

Fluent in English - written and oral.

Minimum experience: 8-9 years.


COMMENTS:

The engineer will work with Southern Area Oil Operations which oversees the operation and engineering activities of 30+ Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSPs), 15 Water Injection Pumping Stations (WIPS), and the largest Seawater Treatment Plant in the world.
