SENIOR REFINERY PROCESS CHE USA
$85,000/120,000 Large profitable SW LA refinery owned by multiplant refiner seeks a Senior Refinery Process Engineer. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Diagnose operating problems and monitor operations of assigned units on a daily basis • Demonstrate analytical and engineering skills • Exhibit intimate knowledge of the process and technologies of assigned units • Use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques in providing solutions to a variety of problems • Provide technical assistance to assigned area, and troubleshoot operating problems while recommending timely solutions • Develop conceptual plans, analyze scope of projects and determine engineering requirements • Analyze scope of projects and determine engineering requirements. Establish criteria, develop economic feasibility studies and evaluate engineering design and procedures • Develop process designs for small (<$1MM) capital projects MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering required • 5 years technical experience in a refinery (prefer 10/20 years) or petrochemical ( I doubt this) environment required • Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization required • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required • Open to relocation to other CO. Facilities • Hysim/Aspen process simulation software experience preferred Salary above is upper/lower limit. They pay well but salary will probably be in between but higher than halfway. They have super bennies...like up to 4 weeks vacation the 2nd year for someone with a lot of prior related wxperience. Will help on house sale, etc.
