QualificationsThe candidate will have a minimum of B.Sc. in Geology
APEGGA membership is desirable. Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably with commercial in-situ oil sands projects.
Proficiency with Accumap, Geographix and PowerPoint.
Motivation, energy and compatibility with the group are more important than experience level.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
ResponsibilitiesLocated in Calgary, Alberta, and reporting to Geoscience Manager, you will provide input into all levels of geologic investigation to promote the overall growth of the in-situ program. This includes overseeing and management of 100% company projects, as well as the monitoring of and recommendations to JV projects. Specifically the generation of geologic maps from all levels of data sets to evaluate and monitor property acquisitions and property programs. In addition, you will be responsible for:
� Organization and interpretation of geologic data
� Preparation of geologic maps, cross sections and presentations
� Monitoring and management of drill and seismic programs
