Lead Drilling Engineer required for major operator in London area to start ASAP for an initial 12 month contract. Candidates will have the option to move with rig to Angola or stay in the London area in planning role for next project.

Key Responsibilities;
Working initially at the Front-end Design and Contract award phase, this is an exciting opportunity to work on major subsea development projects in ultra deepwater (c.2000m). You will finalise well designs and the selection of equipment and services and then commence the detailed preparations for the operational phase culminating in the writing of drilling programmes for each of your assigned wells.

Key Requirements;
With a degree in engineering or a related discipline, you will have extensive drilling experience including deepwater subsea developments in remote areas and a sound knowledge of state-of-the-art directional drilling techniques, borehole stability analysis, performance drilling and a thorough knowledge of typical well planning and approval processes. You will have good computer skills and techniques for deriving technical and commercial solutions.
