Lead Drill Site Supervisor

Location: Vietnam
Lead Drill Site Supervisor required for major operator in Vietnam to start Q1 2008 for an initial 12 month contract which could lead to a further two years work. Specialised HPHT wells.

Key Responsibilities;
- Accountable for well site safety performance
- Providing safety leadership on the wellsite
- Knowledgeable about HPHT well drilling procedures
- Implementing the well plan
- Onsite control of all contractor and rig issues
- Accurate and complete reporting (DIMS)
- Produce / update the forecast and look ahead
- Order operation equipment and materials
- Work with Drilling Contractor and Drilling Supervisor to oversee completion of rig audit requirements

Key Requirements;
- Extensive experience in a similar role with operations planning and operational excellence
- Extensive recent HPHT and semi-submersible experience
- Prepared to work days and nights
