Location: Africa
Lead Drilling Engineer required for major operator in Egypt - Cairo, to start ASAP for an initial 1 year contract. The position is resident in Cairo.

General terms are an agreed day rate plus an allowance of $5000 per month to cover all living (accommodation, transport etc) - air tickets are at start and end of contract.

The position will include providing drilling engineering support to ongoing projects (ongoing subsea development well programmes and jack-up appraisal work), interface with project departments, mentor national drilling engineers, working to improve department systems and capabilities.

Essential Requirements;
- Extensive experience working with Operator
- Consider experience as a Lead Drilling Engineer
- Specific experience appropriate to project e.g. deepwater with semi-submersibles, jack-up drilling, subsea completions.
