Gas Pipeline client in northern Pennsylvania needs a Corrosion Engineer for its gas distribution, transmission, and storage facilities operations. This person will lead the corrosion control efforts for the gas pipeline - evaluate, analyze, and recommend programs, materials, and techniques for cathodic protection, external corrosion, internal corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Work on new programs such as instrumentation, new technologies, standard designs and equipment selections, review industry best practices, provide technical troubleshooting and design support. Requires 5 + years of corrosion protection work, and an Engineering Degree is a major plus. Also requires extensive knowledge of gas industry operations, corrosion control practices, procedures, and materials, knowledge of federal and state regulations; specific working knowledge of DOT related code requirements. National Association of Corrosion Engineers ( NACE ) certification is also required. Excellent benefits are provided including performance bonus, and relocation assistance is available.
