Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Manager of Construction. You will need 20 years of construction and construction management experience in the petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of managing a construction department with numerous projects ongoing at any one time. Experience performing constructability reviews of designs is required. Knowledge of Construction Project Estimating, and Scheduling is essential. You will be responsible for all construction projects designed out of a local office for an international engineering company. Lead, manage and train a varied cast of construction professionals with varying levels of experience. You will be prepped to take over department when current manager leaves next year. Must be computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft office programs. Any ability to prepare manpower and equipment histograms for projects is beneficial. Travel is expected to be 30-40%.
